About Us

BugzillaSource is a professional consulting company in the Silicon Valley area of California, offering the highest-quality Bugzilla consulting services available. Founded in 2004, we offer high-quality, truly professional solutions, while still being friendly and easy to work with.

We employ real, professional engineers who really understand what they're talking about.

At BugzillaSource, we believe in simplicity. We don't try to confuse our customers—we just provide solutions that work, and are easy to use and understand.

Chief Engineer

Our Chief Engineer, Max Kanat-Alexander, is one of the main developers for the Bugzilla Project. He has led the Project to its dominance in the field of open-source bug-tracking, implementing hundreds of features and helping increase the number of downloads each Bugzilla release receives by over 1000%.

Max is also the author of the extremely popular Unofficial Fedora FAQ, a Linux resource renowned for its simplicity and helpfulness. The FAQ receives over 120,000 unique visitors per month.

Before founding BugzillaSource, Max worked in every area of the computing field for 10 years, including Technical Support, Internal IT, training, web development, management, documentation, and software engineering for Linux, Macintosh, and Windows computers.

Because of his broad range of knowledge, Max is well-known for his ability to simplify even the most complex concepts, for programmers and end-users alike. He has an excellent ability to first understand something for himself and then explain it to others in simple terms.
